We are pleased to announce that Westbrook Hay will join our Group, becoming our twelfth UK school.

Westbrook Hay is an outstanding school for boys and girls aged 3-16, set within 26 acres of beautiful school grounds near Hemel Hempstead. The school provides a nurturing and dynamic learning environment, that combines strong academic foundations with a broad co-curricular programme. This September, Westbrook Hay will welcome its first cohort of Year 9 pupils as it begins its expansion to offer GCSEs.

Westbrook Hay’s mission is to nurture happy, confident, and successful children who are well prepared for their futures. Its Governors are securing a bright future for the school by joining a group of larger charitable schools. As an active member of a wider network of charitable schools, they recognise the value this partnership will bring as we can all work collaboratively to meet the needs of all pupils now and into the future.

“At Westbrook Hay, our priority has always been to provide the very best education for our pupils, preparing them for the future by producing happy, confident and successful young people. By joining the Mill Hill Education Group, we are securing long-term stability for our school while gaining access to a wealth of expertise and resources that will further enrich our pupils’ experience. This partnership allows us to strengthen our offering, invest in our future, and ensure that Westbrook Hay continues to thrive for generations to come.”

Mark Brain, Head, Westbrook Hay.

“The economic landscape for independent schools is challenging, with many families facing financial strain and schools under pressure. In times like these, the strength of a collaborative foundation like the Mill Hill Education Group is vital. By bringing together schools with a shared ethos, we enhance education and create efficiencies that secure their future. We are delighted to welcome Westbrook Hay into our Group and look forward to working together to provide outstanding education for generations to come.”
