Celebrating Women in Science: Mill Hill Visit to Lyonsdown

Sixth Form Scientists from Mill Hill spent the day at Lyonsdown, celebrating Women in Science through a series of hands-on STEM activities.

Mill Hill pupil led a range of demonstrations and investigations for the Lyonsdown pupils, sharing their enthusiasm for science and guiding them through experiments using equipment such as infrared cameras, endoscopes, UV pens and mirrors, periscopes, ray boxes and prisms, as well as activities exploring colour separation and bridge-building challenges.

It was lovely to see all the pupils embracing the opportunity to explore scientific ideas and technology in such an interactive way and coming together as a group.
