Cobham Hall Appoints New Head

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Doug Brown as the new Head of Cobham Hall. Mr Brown will start in September 2026, succeeding Mrs Barrett, after 33 years at the School.

Mr Brown has ten years’ experience as Head of Hertford Prep and has achieved a huge amount, including the rare accolade of a “Significant Strength” in a recent ISI inspection. Mr Brown says of this appointment, “It was immediately obvious to me that Cobham is a warm and welcoming School community in an unparallelled setting and I am really ambitious and excited about how we can continue to develop the School”.
