Grimsdell, Mill Hill Pre-Prep are delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Dobson as the third Head of the School. Kevin will start in September 2025, succeeding Kate Simon, after 11 successful years. Kate will be moving to Chiang Mai to become the founding Head of our first overseas school, Mill Hill International School Thailand.

Kevin is a highly experienced school leader and returns to Mill Hill after seven years as Head of The Hall Junior School. Prior to this, he spent ten years at Grimsdell as Deputy Head, where he played a pivotal role in developing innovative educational initiatives focused on creativity and outdoor education-key contributors to Grimsdell’s outstanding reputation. Kevin’s existing understanding of the school will ensure a seamless transition in the leadership of our award-winning school.

I have such fond memories of my time at Grimsdell and am excited about the opportunity to build on the exceptional work of Kate Simon, ensuring the school continues to be a place where all children are happy and thrive both academically and pastorally.”
