New Leadership and Initiatives at Westbrook Hay

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Tom Pierce as the inaugural Head of Seniors at Westbrook Hay.

Tom joins us from Berkhamsted Schools, where he serves as Director of Sport, bringing over two decades of senior school experience, including leadership roles at Warwick School. His commitment to academic rigor, character development, and holistic education aligns seamlessly with our School’s ethos. Tom will officially assume his role in September and will play a key part in shaping the academic and pastoral vision for our new Senior Section (Years 7–11).

We are also excited to introduce Girls on Board, a whole school initiative designed to support girls' friendships. Developed by Andrew Hampton, this innovative programme empowers girls to navigate the complexities of friendship in a respectful, sustainable way.

Earlier this term, all staff received training from Andrew, and the initiative will be led by our Deputy Head Pastoral, Mrs Emilie Loveless. Early feedback from both pupils and staff has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are confident in its potential to enhance pupil wellbeing and strengthen relationships across the School.
