We are delighted to announce that St Joseph’s In The Park has announced an exciting new chapter in its history. From Monday, 3 November 2025, the school will officially become Hertford Prep, unveiling a refreshed visual identity including a new logo and modernised uniform which will be introduced gradually to ensure a smooth transition for families.

This rebrand represents much more than a change of name and appearance, it is a celebration of the school’s remarkable journey and a confident step forward into the future, while remaining true to the values and traditions that have long defined its community.

“The essence of our school remains exactly as it has always been,” said Mr Brown, Head of Hertford Prep. “Our values, ethos, and warm, welcoming community are at the heart of everything we do. This rebrand honours our proud heritage while embracing the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.”

The new name, Hertford Prep, was chosen to better reflect the school’s location and identity within the wider educational landscape. The refreshed logo embodies balance, celebrating tradition while symbolising growth, aspiration, and modernity.

This evolution follows a period of strength and success for the school, including an outstanding ISI inspection and the ongoing benefits of being a part of the Mill Hill Education Group.

While the name may be changing, Hertford Prep’s dedication to excellence, kindness, and opportunity remains. The school community will continue to nurture, inspire, and celebrate every child, fostering confidence and curiosity in an environment rooted in tradition yet open to innovation.
