Grimsdell, Mill Hill Pre-Prep

Educating boys and girls from ages 3 to 7 in North West London, with its close proximity to both to Belmont and Mill Hill School, the pupils make full use of their access to over 120 acres of Mill Hill Schools’ grounds through their Forest School Curriculum and much more.

Mill Hill School

With its aims of instilling values and inspiring minds, Mill Hill School educates boys and girls aged 13 to 18 and offers day places alongside weekly and full boarding. Founded in 1807, Mill Hill is the oldest and largest school in our group, and one of the UK’s leading HMC schools.

Seeking to equip pupils for both present and future life, the school provides a stimulating academic environment and offers numerous activities outside the classroom to encourage learning and personal growth. Committed to the development of every pupil, the school believes that its friendly and supportive community plays a vital role in fostering this growth.

1729 Maths School was initiated and is funded externally, and is based in north London, located within the stunning Belmont and Mill Hill campus. Launching in September 2026, 1729 Maths School is for boys and girls aged 11-18 and will offer day and boarding places. It will offer an outstanding and rigorous maths-based education to pupils irrespective of family income, complemented by a broad curriculum and an extensive extra-curricular offering.

Mill Hill International

Offering a broad range of academic programmes for Boarding and Day pupils aged between 13 and 18, lasting from one term to five years. Benefiting from its own bespoke part of the campus but with access to over 120 acres of Mill Hill Schools’ beautiful grounds, just 10 miles from Central London.

The small class sizes allow individual attention from dedicated and specialist teachers. Boarding pupils of both Mill Hill International and Mill Hill School live together in one of four boarding houses and enjoy further integration through their activities excursions, sports teams, drama and music productions.

In addition, Mill Hill Short Courses run during Spring and Summer holidays and are on offer to international pupils aged 12 to 17 who wish to improve their English and sample British education.

They also stated that ‘pupils are happy, articulate and confident’ and that ‘pupils grow into young people who make a difference to the world and live their lives boldly’.

A ‘small school, offering big opportunities’, Heathfield prides itself on giving every girl the chance to discover her unique passions and talents, and accordingly, to develop the self-belief and confidence to succeed, and ‘make her mark’.
