What do you love about Belmont?

Every morning, I still get the wow factor when I get out of the car and take in the incredible grounds. Above all, it is the community feel and seeing the values of Be Kind, Be Brave, Be You being lived out every day by the staff and children.

Are there any plans you can share?

We are starting to introduce pets; Aslan the cat is becoming a regular feature, and a dog is looking to follow. Also, we are in partnership with the FA to promote girls' football, which will be exciting.

1. I was banned from playing football in Year 8 because I was a girl.
2. I captained Middlesex Women and Reading FC (in my day).
3. I have played in an FA Cup final.
4. I joined the police force but only lasted three weeks.
5. I am addicted to chocolate.
6. When I first started teaching, I was offered a history teaching job at Mill Hill and (politely) turned it down.
7. I have a PhD in the languages of anti-Catholicism and anti-Popery in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
8. I was the first female House Master at Harrow School.
9. My favourite number is 11
